Happy New Year - (January 2008) 2007 brought many changes for Teacher Treks. As many of you know Judy’s knees needed to be recapped. On Dec 10 Judy had total right knee replacement. Judy is anxious to travel again as she is walking without walker or cane. The right knee is ready to travel. We are posting Teacher Treks’ Galapagos Ecuador Tour. Space is very limited as the Ecuadorian government limits the number of travelers visiting the Galapagos. We have chosen one of the finest ships cruising the Galapagos. This is a vacation show casing the beautiful mountains of Ecuador and the Galapagos will provide an experience you will never forget. Much has happened in 2006, family changes and a new destination for Teacher treks travelers.
We have been very busy but our travel program has finally been completed... 2 1/2 month trip to the Far East - (September 2005) Tom and I have just returned from a 2 1/2 month trip to the Far East. Our first stop was Beijing. Many of our past travelers remember Mike, our guide. We had the opportunity to spend some time with Mike and his family. We also visited with our guides from years ago, Andrea and Joe, and their handsome baby boy YuYu. A Preview of Our New European River Cruise - (June 2005) Last October Tom and Judy took the cruise to scout out all the best each of our European stops have to offer. Here is a write up of their experience. A Preview of Our Yangtze River Cruise - Before offering the Yangtze River Cruise tour, Tom and Judy headed East to set sail on the lazy waters of the Yangtze and visit the metropolitan cities of Beijing and Shanghai. Here is a write up of their experience. |
